We wish everybody

a happy new year 2009.

Even this year 2009 will be an interesting touristical year in the Oeresund Region with Copenhagen and Malmoe and the other surprizing places in the Danish Sealand and the Swedish Scania. You are welcome!

Even if it doesn’t look like this: The Summer is on the way to Scania. In only a few months it will be warm and green in the nature again and this will be the time for you to come here and look around at the various interesting places we have in this  part of Sweden.

We would like to help you to find the most wonderfull places in Ystad, the litle old town at the Baltic Sea coast in the most Southern part of Sweden and Scania. Every Monday we will have two guided tours in English and German in the old city of Ystad:

The Morning tour starts at 10 a.m. at the Tourist office. We will walk through the Western part of the city the footsteps of comissar Kurt Wallander, the famous litterature figure, made by Henning Mankell.

In the afternoon we start the tour at 1 p.m. at the Tourist office and we will go through the Eastern part of the city and look at some historical places in thsi part of the town.

The fee is 100 crowns per adult, children follow with us for free. In booked groups with more than 5 persons the fee will be 60 crowns per adult.

These guided tours will not take place August, 4th.

These tours are arranged by us with the help of Ystads Turistbyrå.

Today we are moving to our new office in the Lund district of Mårtens Fälad. We will get better working conditions there and by this way the quality of our services will get much better.

You are very welcome to us at Kollegievägen 49 in Lund!

A new exhibition will start at Malmö Technical and Maritime Museum. This exhibition which is called Tidernas stad will inform the visitors about Malmö’s history in the last one and a half centuries, its development from a worker’s town to a university town, from a geniun Swedish to an international multireligious town in the Middle of Europe but with its wings out into the world.

These are our first steps out into the world with a new homepage. On this side we want to talk to you about us och our job, but also about things which happen in Scania and around us. So don’t worry and try again. Maybe things will have changed on this side.

Welcome back & Välkommen tillbaka!
